So, after that night Jay and I began spending more time together. While I didn't become a regular performer like Jay, Zach, Shannon, or Reggie went on to do, I would occasionally become Gabriella and head over to the club. Most nights I would go to the club as Gabe and hang out or watch the performances, but sometimes I would perform solo or with some of the other performers. After finishing college, Jay became a regular performer at the club and began dating Phil. Reggie and Shannon organized special nights for straight drag performers and I would often perform on those nights and in some instances co-host. A few years later, I was invited to audition for a special season of "Drag Race" featuring straight drag performers. Since I had recently been promoted at the company I work for I was unable to audition, but Shannon and Reggie both did and made it onto the show. As Regina, Reggie won at the end of the season and was often called back to judge or act as a coach until he moved away.
Shortly after that night, Debbie told me that she was pregnant. Nine months later I was the father of twins, a boy, named Cameron, and a girl, named Susan. After the kids were born I only did drag on Halloween because I wasn't sure how the kids would react. On those occasions when I did perform, we would send the kids to stay with my parents for the weekend with the excuse that we were going out of town on business. On some of those weekends, I would become Gabriella and head off somewhere for a romantic weekend with Debbie. We both enjoyed the thrill of going to some resort and spending the weekend as lesbian lovers. It added extra spice to our relationship and gave us both a chance to live out some of our sexual fantasies.
Well, now it's five years later and I'm about to go on stage to perform. Jasmine and I are performing together tonight as hosts of the Halloween competition and as usual I'm playing the sexy one in our performance. My drag daughter, Blaire, is performing after us and she is very excited. She is a straight guy like I am and loves the feeling of dressing as a sexy girl. While she has been crossdressing since she was thirteen, tonight is her first drag performance. We first met when Blake came to my company for an internship when he was a twenty-one year old senior in college. After he'd been at the company for several months, I spotted him one night at the club with his girlfriend. I was not in drag at the time and had come with Debbie to watch Jay perform. We went over to him and he told me that he had been crossdressing for a while and was interested in trying drag. I told him that I occasionally performed and that I would be glad to take him under my wing.
After my performance with Jasmine, Blaire runs over and gives me a hug. She is wearing a sexy witch costume and is performing to the song "I Put a Spell on You." When her name is called she goes out and does a very sexy dance routine as she sings the song. Her friend from back home is watching in the crowd and like Blaire is a straight crossdresser, who Blaire refers to as her little sister Courtney. Courtney had just turned eighteen, so she was excited to get to come to the club and watch Blaire perform. As I watch them hug after Blaire is announced as the winner, I think back to that first night Jasmine and I performed. I smile at Jasmine and think about how far we've come as brothers in life and sisters in drag.
